About Us

The Pitbull Wrestling Club was established in 2022 which gave wrestlers the opportunity in the new and thriving area of Parrish, FL to train and compete at national events. We strive not only to develop high level wrestlers but athletes that will be successful far beyond the sport of wrestling.

Meet The Coaches

Tyler Small

Coach Small grew up in Pennsylvania where he established his love for wrestling and competing under 2x National Champion Cary Kolat. After high school he continued his wrestling career at Kent State University. Following college he moved to Florida to start his coaching career at the high school level.

  • Super 32 7th Place (2009)

  • PA State Champ (2010)

  • 154-24 High School Record

  • 3x NCAA Division 1 Qualifier (2010-2015)

  • MAC Champ (2012)

  • 128 wins at Kent State University (2010-2015)

  • 10 years as High School Head Coach (2016-2026)

  •  Coached 2 State Finalist and multiple state placers

Alex Boukheir

Coach Boukheir grew up in Ohio training directly under Soviet National Champion and US Open Champion, Miron Kharchilava before continuning his wrestling career at Ohio Wesleyan University. He has 4 years of coaching experience in Ohio at the high school level before moving to Florida to continue his coaching career.​​

  • Trained directly under Miron Kharchilava who has trained multiple NCAA, Fargo and World Champions

  • Division 1 All OCC OSHAA Wrestler

  • NCAA Division 3 Wrestler

  • 6 Years Coaching Experience

  • Coaches Multiple State Placers in Ohio and Florida

Jed Kramer

Coach Kramer never grew up despite living in Michigan for many years.  His love for wrestling began in 8th grade, grew through HS, and continued during his collegiate career at Michigan State University.  After college he ran a youth camp for 20 years, coached a middle school team for 8 years, and was a HS head coach for 12 years.  In 2023, he moved to Florida where he continues to coach and scrap.

  • 4yr starter at MSU (1992-1996)

  • 2x NCAA Division 1 Qualifier (1995-1996)

  • Member of NCAA 3rd Place Team (1995)

  • MSU Open Champion (1998)

  • AAU National Champion (2002)

  • Coached many All-Staters & State Finalists

  • Coached many Academic All-State teams
